I was surprised that this product is supposed to be applied straight, with no water added. It's not a concentrated product. My concern was that applying it straight (with no dilution) out of a bug sprayer would not only go through the product quickly, it would also not penetrate the pet urine saturation under the faux grass, so I initially used a garden hose applicator dialed so as to minimize the amount of water per oz of OXYturf. Within minutes, I went through a full gallon of Oxyturf on the first application. At first it looked like it was going to provide the same disappointing results as other products only to find that the urine smell was gone by day two. But about 10 days later, a slight urine smell has started to return, so my next attempt will be to saturate it again, then coat it through a bug sprayer (with no dilution) per the directions. It's only fair that I reserve the final verdict until I can first break the years of saturated pet urine under that grass. I will say that no other product has really worked well, but OXYturf is showing the most promise so far. Time will tell.
