The pickup test

Pet turf odor removal
starts below the fiber

Urine does not sit on the fiber. It runs down the blade, into the infill, and stays there. A hose pushes it deeper. A morning rinse makes the yard look right, and then the afternoon heat comes back and so does the smell.

A facility puts a residential yard's worth of waste through one layer of turf in a day, sometimes in an hour. By the time staff can smell ammonia standing in the yard, the infill is already saturated. Crisis cleaning costs more than scheduled cleaning, every time.

And the person who notices first is not your staff. It is the pet parent at pickup. That is the review, and the renewal. It is the difference between a pet relief area that smells clean at pickup and a potty yard the front desk apologizes for.

Who we are

We make the pet line
other brands sell

OxyTurf started in 2021 out of a synthetic turf installation business. The problem was ours before it was a product. We were the ones going back out on the odor calls.

Today we manufacture the K9 Klean line for ForeverLawn, a national turf brand that puts its own name on the bottle. We co-brand with SYNLawn. When a turf manufacturer needs a pet formula it can stand behind, it comes to us. Our founder is a member of the Synthetic Turf Council.

We also run OxyTurf Labs, our hygiene testing division using ATP surface verification, the same measurement used in food service. Synthetic turf has no cleanliness standard today. We think it should, and we are building the methodology to measure it.

Cleaning foam working in synthetic turf fibers as a sprayer wand applies mist

From turf owners with dogs

"Easily 90% better"

"Three dogs, all over 55 lbs. We tried just about every enzyme cleaner out there. This is easily 90% better." David C., turf owner with dogs

"We've tried multiple products. This one is the only one that works 100%." Sheila, turf owner with dogs

The chemistry

Oxygen,
not enzymes

Enzyme cleaners work on the clock. They need the right temperature, the right dwell, and hours a running yard does not have between play groups. Cold morning, cool product, slow result.

OxyTurf is built on enhanced hydrogen peroxide. It oxidizes. It foams as it works, which is how staff can see coverage in real time, and it carries down through the fiber into the infill instead of sheeting off the top.

Then it goes away. The peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes, so a yard treated between groups turns fast. No bleach. No ammonia. No harsh fumes in an enclosed run. Maintenance passes need no rinse. On a deep clean, follow with a hose to drive it through every layer.

Our partners

Turf brands we manufacture for

The brands that co-brand with us, stock us, and put their own labels on formulas we manufacture, including the K9 Klean pet line.

  • ForeverLawn
  • SYNLawn
  • Turf Wash

Behind every bottle is more than a century of chemical manufacturing experience. We develop our formulas alongside our manufacturing partner's scientists in a full-service lab, and they are produced to spec, batch after batch, at every size from 32 oz sprayers to 275-gallon totes.

Spec sheet

Built for kennels, dog runs, and potty yards

  • Bulk sizes, real ones

Wholesale gallons and cases for a single dog run, 5-gallon pails for daily rotation, 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes for multi-yard kennel campuses and franchise groups.

  • Ready to use, no mixing

No dilution ratios for a kennel tech to get wrong at 6 a.m. One gallon covers roughly 500 sq ft on routine maintenance and roughly 200 sq ft on heavy-use potty yards, so you can budget by square footage.

  • Fast turnaround between play groups

Apply, let it dwell about 10 minutes, and once the foam subsides the yard is ready. It is safe for use around pets and kids when used as directed.

  • No bleach, no ammonia

No harsh fumes in an enclosed run, and nothing that builds up in the infill over repeated passes. Unscented is available if your facility prefers no added fragrance.

  • Protects the asset

Neglected infill shortens the life of a turf system, and replacement is a five-figure line item. A scheduled cleaning program is the cheapest insurance on that install.

  • Franchise and multi-site

If you buy from a corporate approved vendor list, tell us who to talk to. We handle vendor packets, samples for evaluation, and pricing across multiple locations.

How ordering works

From request to your yard

  • 1. Tell us what you run

Size, volume, and how often. One form, and a real person reads it.

  • 2. We quote within one business day

Product plus freight to your address, itemized as its own line. You see exactly what shipping costs before you commit, and a single case is enough to get a quote.

  • 3. First order ships, terms follow

First orders ship on card or prepay. Accounts running regular volume can ask about terms.

  • 4. Reorders take one email

Your pricing stays on file. Standing schedules are available for route work.

Questions we get from facilities

What is OxyTurf and how is it used in a pet facility?

OxyTurf is an oxygen-powered cleaner and deodorizer built specifically for synthetic turf. It uses enhanced hydrogen peroxide to reach the infill where pet odor lives, then breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes. Boarding facilities, dog daycares, kennels, dog parks, and vet campuses use it on potty yards, play turf, and pet relief areas, in sizes from 32 oz sprayers to 275-gallon totes with wholesale pricing.

How often should you clean dog daycare turf?

It depends on traffic. High-volume yards running groups all day are usually on a weekly or biweekly pass, with spot treatment on the heaviest corners between groups. Lower-volume yards and relief areas often run monthly. Tell us your yard size and headcount and we will suggest a starting cadence, then you adjust from there.

Does rinsing artificial turf remove dog urine odor?

Rinsing handles what is on the surface. Urine travels down the blade into the infill and backing, and water pushes it further in rather than removing it. That is why a yard can be hosed daily and still smell by afternoon. OxyTurf carries down through the fiber and works on what is in the infill.

How much do we need?

Roughly 500 sq ft per gallon on routine maintenance, roughly 200 sq ft per gallon on heavy-use or saturated potty yards. Apply, let it dwell about 10 minutes, and once the foam subsides the area is ready. Maintenance passes need no rinse. Deep cleans get a hose-follow to drive it through every layer.

Is OxyTurf safe for dogs on artificial turf?

It is safe for use around pets and kids when used as directed. There is no bleach, no ammonia, and no acid, so there are no harsh fumes in an enclosed run, and the peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes. Keep dogs off during the dwell and bring them back once the foam subsides. Current safety documentation is available on request.

Enzyme turf cleaner vs oxygen turf cleaner: which costs less?

Per gallon on the invoice, sometimes. Then you pay for mixing time, you pay when a tech mixes it wrong, and you pay to ship the water either way. Enzymes also need warmth and long dwell to perform, which a yard turning groups every hour cannot give them. OxyTurf arrives ready and works the same way every time, so your cost per cleaning is predictable.

Will it hurt the turf or the infill?

It is formulated for synthetic turf fiber and works on common infills including sand and rubber. There is no bleach and no ammonia, and the peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes, so nothing is left in the infill to build up over repeat applications. If you are running a specialty infill such as a zeolite blend, tell us which one and we will confirm.

We are a franchise and buy from an approved vendor list. Can you work with that?

Yes. Note it in the form and we will work with your corporate group directly on evaluation samples, documentation, and multi-location pricing. We also manufacture co-branded and white-label pet turf cleaners under other names, including the K9 Klean line for ForeverLawn, so a private-label program is a conversation we have regularly. Start with the wholesale account application and note your vendor-list requirements.

We order our supplies through a distributor. Can we get it that way?

Tell us who you buy from and we will approach them directly. We already sell through turf-industry distribution and we are opening pet-channel accounts now. If your distributor does not want to carry it, buying direct takes one email and your pricing stays on file.

How do we show pet parents the yard is actually clean?

Odor is the only signal most pet parents have, and it is not a measurement. Through OxyTurf Labs, our hygiene testing division, we can set up an ATP swab protocol for your yards, the same surface-verification method used in food service. Swab, read a number in about ten seconds, and keep a before-and-after record. It is a cleanliness measurement, not a health claim, and no one else in turf offers one.
