OxyTurf vs enzyme cleaners

Enzymes need perfect weather. Turf rarely has it.

Enzyme cleaners use live cultures to digest odor slowly. They stop working when turf gets too hot, too cold or too dry, which on a July afternoon is most of the time. Most need to be mixed with water, shaken before use and rinsed off afterward.

OxyTurf goes on straight from the jug and starts working on contact. Fifteen minutes later the job is done, and there's nothing to rinse.

  • Ready to useNo measuring, mixing or extra water.
  • Works in any weatherHeat, cold and dry turf don't slow it down.
  • No rinse, no residueNothing left behind in the fibers or infill.
  • Cleans, degreases and deodorizesOne product does the job of three.

This stuff actually works because it is not enzyme based which get destroyed by the heat... Have been battling urine odor for a year but now it's gone.

OxyTurf vs chlorine dioxide

Your yard shouldn't smell like a swimming pool.

Chlorine dioxide products leave a strong chlorine odor, can irritate eyes and airways, and can fade turf color over time. They also break down in direct sunlight, which is where turf lives.

Hydrogen peroxide has a higher oxidation potential than chlorine dioxide. OxyTurf holds up in the sun, leaves your yard smelling like a freshly mowed lawn, and is safe around kids, pets and plants when used as directed.

  • Smells like fresh-cut grassLike you just had the lawn mowed.
  • Stable in direct sunlightKeeps working on hot, sunny turf.
  • Won't fade turf colorSafe for the fibers you paid for.
  • Removes hard water depositsClears the white film sprinklers leave behind.

OxyTurf vs other peroxide cleaners

Not all peroxide is the same peroxide.

Drugstore peroxide and many peroxide turf sprays are plain hydrogen peroxide and water. Plain peroxide loses strength once it's opened and does little to lift grime out of the fibers.

OxyTurf is Enhanced Hydrogen Peroxide (EHP), ready to use at full strength with no dilution. Four additions do the work plain peroxide can't.

  • AcceleratorsSpeed up the reaction so it works on contact.
  • DetergentsLift dirt and residue out of turf fibers and infill.
  • StabilizersKeep the formula at full strength on the shelf and in the sun.
  • SurfactantsHelp it spread evenly and soak down into the infill.

Our story

We know what works because we work with turf.

Adam Hambarian spent years installing artificial grass across Southern California. Customer after customer told him the same thing: the turf looked great, but it smelled, and nothing on the shelf was made for it. Household cleaners and enzyme sprays weren't built for turf fibers or infill.

In 2021 he started OxyTurf and developed the first hydrogen peroxide cleaner made specifically for artificial turf. Adam is a member of the Synthetic Turf Council, and OxyTurf now cleans backyards, dog parks, sports fields and golf simulators across the country.

What customers say

  • I moved into a new house three months ago... the smell that came from their artificial grass was horrific. I did my research and found the oxyturf, sprayed it on and literally have not had any smell come back from the grass.
