For category managers, merchants, and buying teams

There is no brand
on that shelf yet

Artificial turf is a seven to eight billion dollar global market, and the aisle that serves it does not exist. OxyTurf is an oxygen-powered turf cleaner and deodorizer, purpose-built for synthetic grass, shelf-ready in 32 oz and gallon, with case packs, UPCs, and private-label capability behind it.

The gap in the aisle

Artificial turf cleaner:
a category with no category

Synthetic turf went from stadiums to backyards. It is in dog runs, side yards, patios, play areas, and rooftop decks, and the installed base grows every season. The global artificial turf market runs in the range of seven to eight billion dollars, with residential the largest share of applications.

Every one of those installs is a recurring consumable need. Turf holds pet odor in the infill, not on the blade, and the homeowner who paid for the install finds that out in the first hot week. So they walk your aisle looking for the turf product.

There isn't one. They pick up a general outdoor cleaner, a general pet enzyme, something for the driveway, and they guess. The purchase happens somewhere else, or it does not happen at all. That is a consumables category sitting in front of a planogram that has not been written yet.

Who we are

We manufacture
the category

OxyTurf started in 2021 out of a synthetic turf installation business. The problem was ours before it was a product. We were the ones going back out on the odor calls, and we built the formula because nothing on a shelf solved it.

Since then the brand has grown every year from a regional fix into a national direct-to-consumer line, and its founder is a member of the Synthetic Turf Council. We co-brand with SYNLawn, and we manufacture private-label turf cleaners for other names in the category, including K9 Klean by ForeverLawn. Production runs at every size through 275-gallon totes, so a chain-wide program is a scheduling question, not a capacity question.

We also run OxyTurf Labs, our hygiene testing division using ATP surface verification, the same measurement used in food service. Synthetic turf has no cleanliness standard today. We think it should, and we are building the methodology to measure it.

The chemistry

Oxygen,
not enzymes

Enzyme cleaners work on the clock. They need the right temperature, the right dwell, and hours the customer does not spend. The result arrives late or not at all, and that is what a return at the service desk looks like.

OxyTurf is built on enhanced hydrogen peroxide. It oxidizes. It foams as it works, so the customer can see coverage while they are standing there, and it carries down through the fiber into the infill instead of sheeting off the top. Then it goes away. The peroxide breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes. No bleach. No ammonia. It is safe for use around kids and pets when used as directed.

The formulation runs at 5 to 7 percent hydrogen peroxide, under the 8 percent DOT threshold. That is a logistics fact worth a line in the packet: no hazmat placarding, no hazmat surcharges, parcel or LTL, into a DC or direct to store like any other household cleaner.

Our partners

Brands we manufacture for

The brands that co-brand with us, stock us, and put their own labels on formulas we manufacture.

  • SYNLawn
  • ForeverLawn
  • Turf Wash

Behind every bottle is more than a century of chemical manufacturing experience. We develop our formulas alongside our manufacturing partner's scientists in a full-service lab, and they are produced to spec, batch after batch, at every size from 32 oz sprayers to 275-gallon totes.

Spec sheet

Built to go on shelf

  • Shelf-ready formats

32 oz trigger and 1-gallon round, each in cases of 4, sized for a standard cleaning-aisle bay. Wholesale and bulk sizes from 5-gallon pails through 275-gallon totes sit behind the retail pack for pro and program business.

  • Scent assortment, one facing each

Lemongrass, Freshgrass, and Unscented. Three SKUs read as a set on the POG, give the shopper a reason to choose, and let you test which one earns the second facing.

  • Ships without hazmat

At 5 to 7 percent hydrogen peroxide the formula stays under the 8 percent DOT threshold. No placarding, no ORM-D, no hazmat surcharge, parcel or LTL, DC or ship-to-store.

  • UPC and case-pack infrastructure

GS1 UPCs assigned at the retail unit, case-pack and carton-marking specs available for review. Tell us your compliance guide and we will confirm against it before the first PO.

  • Private label and co-brand

SYNLawn Cleaner-Deodorizer Powered by OxyTurf is a live product, and we manufacture the K9 Klean line for ForeverLawn. If the program you want is your own label on the bottle, that is the business we already run.

  • Ready to use, no mixing

No dilution, no ratios, no returns from a customer who guessed. One gallon covers roughly 500 sq ft on routine maintenance and roughly 200 sq ft on heavy-use areas, which is a claim your shopper can check.

How we work with retailers

From line review to launch

  • 1. Line review

Tell us your category and your review window. We send the packet: formats, case packs, UPCs, cost and suggested retail, the assortment rationale, and the direct-to-consumer demand data behind it. We build to your submission format, portal or spreadsheet.

  • 2. Program terms

Cost structure, MAP policy, case minimums, and the assortment that fits your bay. We would rather agree on margin floors and promo cadence before the first PO than renegotiate after the reset.

  • 3. EDI and logistics readiness

We work through your onboarding: EDI transaction sets and certification, insurance certificate, vendor agreement, GS1 and carton marking, ASN. No hazmat classification to clear, which takes one step off the list. Direct to DC or ship-to-store.

  • 4. Launch support

Launch support we fund: on-pack usage education for a category the shopper has never bought, aisle and endcap signage, and geo-targeted digital pointed at your store list. We bring a proposed spend to the line review rather than negotiating it after.

Questions we get from buyers

What is OxyTurf artificial turf cleaner?

OxyTurf is an oxygen-powered cleaner and deodorizer built specifically for artificial and synthetic turf. It uses enhanced hydrogen peroxide to reach the infill where pet odor lives, then breaks down into oxygen and water in about 10 minutes. It comes in 32 oz trigger and 1-gallon retail formats in cases of 4, in three scents, plus bulk sizes for pro and program business.

Is there demand for an artificial turf cleaner category?

Direct-to-consumer customers, mostly homeowners with turf and dogs. The brand has grown every year since 2021 and holds a 4.86 out of 5 rating across 214 reviews, with strong repeat purchase because the product is a consumable on a recurring cadence. That is the pre-shelf demand read: a defined shopper, a known problem, and a repeat rate we put in the packet.

Does hydrogen peroxide turf cleaner require hazmat shipping?

No. The formulation runs at 5 to 7 percent hydrogen peroxide, under the 8 percent DOT threshold for regulated oxidizers. No placarding, no ORM-D, no hazmat surcharges. It moves parcel or LTL into your DC or direct to store the same way a household cleaner does.

What are the retail formats and case packs?

32 oz trigger and 1-gallon round, each case-packed in fours, in Lemongrass, Freshgrass, and Unscented. Retail units carry GS1 UPCs. Send us your compliance guide and we will confirm case dimensions, carton marking, and pallet configuration against your spec before the first PO.

Can you do private label or an exclusive?

Yes. We manufacture co-branded and private-label turf cleaners today, including SYNLawn Cleaner-Deodorizer Powered by OxyTurf and the K9 Klean line for ForeverLawn. Your own label, an exclusive scent or size, or a national-brand program are all conversations we have regularly. Note which one you want in the form.

Can you supply artificial turf cleaner at chain volume?

Yes. Production runs to spec, batch after batch, at every size through 275-gallon totes, with a manufacturing partner carrying more than a century of chemical experience. Give us your store count, forecast, and replenishment model and we will confirm lead times and DC coverage in writing. For bulk and program business behind the retail pack, the wholesale account application starts that conversation.

Where does turf cleaner merchandise on a planogram?

Two answers work. In cleaning, next to outdoor and pet odor products, where the shopper is already standing when they realize nothing on the shelf is for turf. In lawn and garden or outdoor living, alongside the turf and hardscape sets, where the install decision was made. We will bring velocity assumptions for both and let your data settle it.

What documentation do you provide?

Current safety data, specification sheets, UPC and case-pack detail, insurance certificate, and the vendor packet your onboarding portal requires. Our safety data page is public. Ask through the form and we will send the rest.

Where is it sold today?

Direct to consumer and through the turf industry, where national brands sell it under their own labels. It is not on a national retail shelf yet, which is the offer: the first retailer in this category defines it rather than splits it. We will talk about a category-defining position, including exclusivity on a format or a scent, with the banner that moves first.

Will your own website undercut our shelf price?

No. Our direct-to-consumer pricing holds at or above shelf, and MAP is enforced across every channel including our own. We are not going to sell against your store.
